Jennifer Malbuisson

Jennifer Malbuisson has been in theatre for 35 years, working Off-Off-Broadway to Broadway and everything in between in a myriad of roles. Until the pandemic hit, she was the Company/Stage Manager of the monthly Ten Foot Rat Cabaret at the East Village’s USM, a position she looks forward to assuming again soon. Favorite acting roles include Mary in Low Level Panic, Harper in Angels in America, Part One: Millennium Approaches and Mags in Painting Churches. Training: American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC, The Academy Company, Austin Pendleton at HB Studios NY.

Theater in Asylum (TIA) is a New York-based theater company founded in 2010 to challenge and empower our community. TIA joyfully pursues a rigorous research and an ensemble-driven approach to theater-making. We create performances to investigate our past, interpret our present, and imagine our future. We prize space to process, space to question—asylum—for ourselves and our community.
