SHOTS FIRED
Shots Fired is a short companion piece to The Debates. Theater in Asylum created the piece collaboratively with the cast and dramaturgs for The Artist Co-op. The piece is inspired by and uses text from the 2016 Verizon Strike (including statements from the company and the union). Below find the script of our show (click here to download). Please feel free to share, perform, and adapt it in any way you see fit. Please just let us know and give us credit as the original creators.

Theater in Asylum (TIA) is a New York-based theater company founded in 2010 to challenge and empower our community. TIA joyfully pursues a rigorous research and an ensemble-driven approach to theater-making. We create performances to investigate our past, interpret our present, and imagine our future. We prize space to process, space to question—asylum—for ourselves and our community.
