Addy Jenkins

Addy Jenkins is a young actor from Long Island who recently moved to Manhattan and is living their dream by making theatre and art with great people! They hold a BA in Theatre and Performance with a minor in Political Science from SUNY Purchase and is a certified actor combatant with Dueling Arts International and loves to choreograph and direct fights. Previous credits include: Henry IV, Part 1 (Prince Hal), Austentation (Harold), Orestes 2.0 (Tyndareus) The Language Archive (Resten), all performed at SUNY Purchase, as well as The Debates 2020 (various roles) with Theatre in Asylum, and Romeo and Juliet (Romeo/Lady Capulet/Friar John/Abraham) with FairShakes Theatre Company. In addition to acting, they have a passion for reading, writing, and performing poetry, as well as playing a multitude of tabletop and video games.

Theater in Asylum (TIA) is a New York-based theater company founded in 2010 to challenge and empower our community. TIA joyfully pursues a rigorous research and an ensemble-driven approach to theater-making. We create performances to investigate our past, interpret our present, and imagine our future. We prize space to process, space to question—asylum—for ourselves and our community.
