Theresa Burns

Theresa Burns
Theresa Burns is a singer, actor, dancer and director/choreographer who has worked extensively on both new and published plays, musicals, and dance pieces. She recently performed off-Broadway in Temple of the Souls (Theatre Row) and My Big, Gay Italian Wedding (St. Luke's Theatre). She also recently choreographed and co-directed Spring Awakening at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She directed and choreographed the original and revival productions of Dance-It-Yourself Nutcracker: an interactive, immersive reimagining of The Nutcracker. Additional past performance credits include: the national tour of The Wizard of Oz (Glinda), the national tour of Cinderella (Stepsister), Songs for a New World (Woman 2- Enlightened Theatrics), Broadway's Future Songbook (vocalist, Lincoln Center), and many readings and workshops of new plays and musicals. Additional past choreography credits include: the award-winning national and international tours of ¡Olé! (Theatre in Asylum), the award winning Camp Rolling Hills (NYMF- PTC), and Parade, Urinetown, Lippa’s Wild Party, Into the Woods, and Merrily We Roll Along at The Strasberg Institute.
